What you get as a member of the Gotland Tourist Association:
• Exposure of your printed marketing materials at the GTA Tourist Office in Visby and at Gotland City in Stockholm.
• Exposure of your company at www.gotland.info, mutual link between your company and the GTA.
• Opportunities for participating, at cost price, in marketing activities and appearing in brochures, etc., produced by the GTA.
• Access to statistics, business ratios and analyses.
The Gotland Tourist Association has extensive experience of tourism, which we’re more than willing to share.
What the GTA does:
• Runs projects providing support for Gotland travel and tourism companies, among other things by organising training and quality development programmes.
• Functions as a mouthpiece for the Gotland visiting industry.
• Actively works on behalf of its members, providing press releases, information and services for journalists.
• Actively works on behalf of its members, marketing Gotland as a destination for cruise ships.
The GTA has an equitable pricing strategy.
We believe that people who earn less should be expected to pay less than those on higher incomes. In that way, everybody will be able to help bring more visitors to Gotland. Everyone is a winner. For every krona paid by the companies in membership fees, the municipal authorities pay an extra krona to help develop tourism.
